DIARIES OF A LONE TRAVELLER EP2 : World Tour Destination- Paris

I landed in Paris a few days after convincing my dad to go on a world tour to survey about universities. I was in my hotel room the first day, relaxing and planning an adventurous death for myself.

I went out the following evening, wandering in the streets of this gorgeous city. Too bad, I wont see this again. I never wanted to go any further than a few blocks from my hotel. Just to a few streets to sit somewhere in an open café and have some coffee and croissants. It was already getting dark. And before I plan out my death, I had to plan that plan too— don’t worry, you will get what im saying!

For that plan to work, I first had to take a tour of the city to find that perfect location; that perfect spot of a jump! Or a crash! Or something! So, I planned on booking a tourist bus from my hotel’s reception to look out the places in Paris. That is the reason why I had to rush back to the hotel so quick from the café, I had to book and decided on going on the tour the following night only!!

What a haste I was in…!!

The bus took us places and places, like the open parks, the little statues on the crossroads, the night beauties of the city, and finally a far off sight from the Eiffel Tower. The tower was lit up with lights all over and there was beauty even in the darkness. I wonder shy the bus didn’t take us to the museums, probably they were closed at night!

But one thing I made certain- I will jump off from the Eiffel Tower the next day!!

It is said that visitors can climb the staircase of the tower in the afternoon…

The bus take us to our respective hotels. I made the bus stop before reaching to the hotel, at that café, where I met someone— Julie, my ex from when I visited the UK with my mom!

Julie and I had a long talk and we got along. We still don’t know what went wrong in our relationship, but I couldn’t hold on to the thought of leaving such relationships on a cliff hanger before dying! I had to resolve things with her before…

The moment was intimate and let me tell you- I didn’t go to my hotel that night; I went to hers and never climbed the Eiffel Tower the next day!!

The moment I know I had her, I dropped everything, but not myself… and moved on to another destination…
